Bodegas Baudron

Bodegas Baudron is a family winery in Maipú, Mendoza, founded in 1940 by a family of French and Italian immigrants who chose Mendoza's lands to put their experience as European winegrowers to work. According to its website, it has more than 80 years of family work dedicated to winemaking.

The winery has a production capacity of 4,000,000 liters per year. Its cellars, with dim light and constant temperature, are designed for aging red wines, which keep evolving in the bottle. Its products include the Premium, Reservado and Malbec lines, with profiles of red and ripe fruits such as plum, blackberry and cherry, and in the Reservado, notes of vanilla and chocolate from the oak. Maipú is one of the most traditional producing areas of the province. Sunny days and cool nights, scarce rainfall and sandy, permeable soils characterize this terroir.

Visits and practical information

The winery offers free guided tours Monday to Saturday, in the morning and afternoon, best arranged by phone in advance. It also hosts lunches and events, which are handled through a separate line.
