Posada Cavieres Wine Farm

Posada Cavieres Wine Farm is a rural inn in Russell, Maipú, right on the Maipú Wine Route. It is a working farm of about 14 hectares with its own vineyard and olive grove, and it produces its own Malbec and olive oil. It is a great base for exploring Mendoza's first wine area.

Rooms and services

The inn has 7 rooms with private bathrooms and rustic decor. Some areas are built in adobe, and the rooms face the garden. All of them have wifi and heating. A breakfast with homemade bread and regional products is served every morning, and dinner can be had at the inn in the evening. Regional meals and barbecue (asado) can also be prepared on request. Guests have a fully equipped kitchen and a dining room at their disposal, and there is also a pool, terrace, a large garden and parking. The inn also has a space for motorhome travelers.

Wine, olive trees and nearby wineries

What sets the inn apart is its setting: you can walk among the vines and olive trees, taste the Cavieres Malbec and, during the season, join the harvest. Custom vineyard visits are also organized, and bicycles are available for touring the area. Within 5 km there are several wineries, such as Di Tommaso, Tempus Alba, Viña El Cerno, Carinae, Mevi and Trivento, and El Enemigo is about 8 km away. Thanks to its tranquility, it is especially suited to couples and those traveling for wine tourism.

Location and how to get there

The inn is on Espejo Este street, in a rural area of Maipú surrounded by farms. It is about 18 km from downtown Mendoza and about 25 km from El Plumerillo airport. Transfers to and from the airport are available for an additional fee.

Reservations can be made online through the inn's website, by phone or via WhatsApp. Check-in is in the afternoon and check-out is in the morning, so it is best to arrange your arrival time in advance.
