El Facon Parrillada

El Facón Parrillada is an Argentine grill restaurant in Bahía Bonita, Potrerillos, in Luján de Cuyo. It is a mountain spot to eat grilled meat with the Potrerillos reservoir in the background, and it opens only on weekends.

The menu

The main dish is the parrillada, which comes with beef, ribs, chicken, chinchulín, morcilla and chorizo, and includes a salad. There is a version for two people, a good option if you're going as a couple. To start, you can order ham and cheese empanadas, caprese or beef empanadas, fried pastries (pasteles fritos), or a picada with salami, cheeses, cooked ham, cured ham and blue cheese. If you prefer something quicker, there are choripán and beef sandwiches. To drink there is beer, soft drinks and wine, and for dessert, peach with cream or with dulce de leche. The place

The tables are outdoors, on a terrace facing the reservoir and the Potrerillos hills. It's a simple, country-style place to go with friends or family when you're out exploring the dam area.

It is open Saturdays and Sundays, and reservations are made via WhatsApp, which is worth doing before you go, especially on high-season weekends.
