Senderos Chacras De Coria

Senderos de Chacras de Coria is a natural space for mountain biking, running and trekking in Chacras de Coria, Luján de Cuyo. It is one of the favorite areas of Mendoza's cyclists, partly because it is only a few minutes from the city and is considered a safe place for the activity.

The circuits are marked with signs showing the direction of travel and the difficulty level, and at the entrance there are maps of the different routes. Each trail is named after or nicknamed for the person who discovered it; among the best known are La bajada del Mickey, Cromagnon and la Subida del Pepe. There are options for different fitness and technical levels.

How to get there and what's on site

Access is from the Ruta Panamericana (Route 82), at the height of the Chacras de Coria sports field, entering the Senderos parking area on El Peral street. There is space to leave your vehicle, stalls selling drinks and some food, and workshops with bicycle parts and accessories.

Practical information

It is advisable to wear a helmet and bring enough water for the activity. We did not find opening hours or an official booking site: it is an open-access space according to the local tourism guide, so if you want to confirm anything before going, check with the Luján de Cuyo Tourism Office.
