La Quebrada de los Berros is a trekking circuit in Blanco Encalada, Luján de Cuyo department, about 35 kilometers from the city of Mendoza. You get there via Route 82 toward Cacheuta.
The route is low difficulty. The trail starts in front of the Álvarez Condarco hydroelectric plant, passes under a concrete aqueduct and follows the bed of a dry stream toward the ravine. It is a humid ravine, with water seeping from the sand and watercress growing along the water channels. It goes from about 1,200 to about 2,100 m a.s.l.
About two hours into the walk there is a spring of drinkable water. Further on there is a valley with three paths: one leads to a viewpoint over the Potrerillos Dam, another to a waterfall. The full route takes about 3 hours.
It is best to leave early and bring water and trekking shoes. It is a place to walk, rest and, according to some sources, even camp for one night.
