Portal del Atuel

Portal del Atuel is an adventure tourism company in Valle Grande, San Rafael, on Provincial Route 173. According to its website, it is a family business with more than three decades in tourism, offering water and mountain activities and excursions with transfers.

Individual activities include rafting, canopy, catamaran rides, 4x4 rides, sandy beaches with shade and canoes, and rappelling. In January, February and during carnival, night activities are added: night trekking, night rafting and 4x4 sunset. When the river level allows, Cool River and Doky are also available.

To combine activities, it offers packages of two, three or four activities, with discounts. It also sells passes: the Full Day includes unlimited access to the main group of activities from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., a lunch with a drink at Portal del Atuel Resto, and one night activity. The two-day pass, consecutive or not, includes two lunches and two night activities.

It offers a program for student groups, with age-adapted activities and specialized guides, for a minimum of 30 people. It is an option for families, couples, groups of friends and schools.

The complex is on Provincial Route 173, on the road to Valle Grande and the reservoir. The website also mentions a restaurant of its own on the same route.
