El Informador Turístico KM 0 is the visitor information office of the Municipality of General Alvear, at the point where two national routes meet, on RN 188.
It is in front of a renovated public space with the #ALVEAR sign for photos, a sundial, restrooms and a green area. The office has restrooms and a kitchen, and the artisan fair takes place at the same spot on Sunday mornings.
It is a good first stop if you arrive in Alvear and want to find out what to do in the department. For inquiries, the municipality's tourism website is the official channel.
