Costanera Centro

Costanera Centro is a tourism and recreation project on the banks of the Atuel River, in General Alvear, Mendoza. According to official notes, it is being carried out by the Municipality with funding from the Fondos del Resarcimiento, in coordination with the provincial government and Emetur.

One of its main components is an aerial adventure park, with a metal launch tower, a high-level course with six zip line runs and three pedestrian suspension bridges. The plan also includes food and retail stalls, bike paths, green spaces, urban infrastructure and areas for traveling tourism.

The work extends Avenida Alvear Oeste to the riverbank, with roundabouts, a tourist information center and a landmark with the initials "GA". It also includes irrigation channels and drains for rainwater runoff.

For now, this is a project under construction: it is best to check with the municipal Tourism Office when activities will open and how to book.
