Uco Valley Winery Tour
High-altitude vineyards at the foot of the Andes: Tunuyán, Tupungato and San Carlos, with Mendoza's best postcard view.
- By car
- 4 stops
- 2 h 41 min of travel between stops
The Uco Valley is about an hour and a half from the City of Mendoza and is famous for its high-altitude vineyards, some over a thousand meters, with the Andes always in the background. Tunuyán, Tupungato and San Carlos have design wineries, mountain wines and lunches among the vines.
Distances are longer than in other areas, so it is best to leave early and make few stops, with lunch included. It is a full day, best by car.
