Aguará: Veterinaria a domicilio

Aguará is a mobile veterinary service for dogs and cats, covering all of Greater Mendoza. There is no clinic: the vet comes to your home, which is convenient if you don't have a way to transport your pet or if it gets stressed when traveling.

What happens during each visit

The core service is a general clinical consultation at home. The vet also gives vaccines: puppies receive the quintuple vaccine and the rabies vaccine, are dewormed, and are given their health booklet (libreta sanitaria), and adult animals get their annual booster. If you're traveling with your pet to another province or abroad, the vet carries out the health check needed for the certificate. The service also performs the rabies control required by law when a dog or cat whose rabies vaccination is not up to date has bitten a person or another animal.

On its social media, it shows that it places microchips at home. Its website also mentions ultrasound, ethology (behavior) and nutrition.

How to arrange a visit

Visits are arranged in advance via WhatsApp: you agree on the day and time. On Facebook, it posts about how it works and shares patient stories.
