## About Huarpe Riglos Family Wines

Huarpe Riglos Family Wines is a family winery in Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo. It was born from the union of two projects: Huarpe Wines, from the Hernández Toso family, and Bodega Riglos, from the Werthein group. The name Huarpe honors the first inhabitants of Mendoza. Winemaking is led by José Hernández Toso, and the wines come from estates in Agrelo and Gualtallary.

## Visits and tastings

The winery offers guided tours from Monday to Saturday, with departures at 10, 12 and 15:30. All of them include a walk through the vineyards and the winery, and end with a tasting. Depending on the experience you choose, you can taste three wines, five premium wines or the three house kosher mevushal varietals. There are two experiences that add, after the visit, a board of cheeses and cold cuts, empanadas and regional snacks: one with young wines and the other with premium wines (minimum two people). You can also stay in the gardens with a picada and a bottle. The winery also has a space for events and meetings.

## Wines, art and landscape

Its lines include Huarpe Gran Reserva and Huarpe Reserva, the Taymente varietals, the Zamia Extra Brut sparkling wine and, from the Riglos side, Gran Reserva, Quinto Reserva and Quinto Varietales. The landscape faces the Andes Cordillera. What draws the most attention is the only piece of the Berlin Wall in Mendoza, decorated by local artists. In addition, there is the Colección Pampa, with more than 25 years of contemporary Argentine art.

## How to get there and practical information

The winery is on Ruta Provincial 15, at about kilometer 32, in the heart of the Agrelo wine area. It is close to other wineries in Luján de Cuyo, so it is easy to add it to a route along the wine road. Visits are booked via WhatsApp or by email with the tourism team. It is advisable to book in advance, especially for the picada experiences, which require a minimum of two people. Closed on Sundays.
