## About Finca La Anita

Finca La Anita is a boutique winery of high-end wines in Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo. It is one of the first boutique projects in Alto Agrelo and since 2017 has belonged to Origin Wine, a Swiss group that also has wineries in South Africa and Switzerland. Its 72 hectares of own vineyards have moved to organic management, and the winemaker in charge is the Swiss Richard Bonvin.

## Wines and vineyards

The estate grows Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Syrah, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc. One of its gems is a Syrah vineyard planted in 1947, which you can see as soon as you enter the property. The house lines are Luna, Finca La Anita, Magna Finca, and Varúa, plus the rosé Pétalos de Rosa. Because of the altitude of Alto Agrelo, the difference in temperature between day and night is similar to that of the Uco Valley, and this gives wines with body.

## Visits and restaurant

The visit goes through the vineyards, the tank room, and the barrel room, and ends with a guided tasting. There are also sulky rides through the vines and a photo tour of the winery's museum. The restaurant has outdoor tables in a park with garden, trees, and a view of the Andes. It serves a three-course fire-cooking menu, which you can order with or without wine pairing, and on weekends you can also order à la carte: clay-oven empanadas, grilled meats, pastas, and desserts. Almost all the cooking is gluten-free and there are vegetarian options. The winery also has a small shop with its wines.

## How to get there and practical info

The winery is on calle Cobos, one of the roads with the most wineries in Luján de Cuyo, about 30 minutes from the City of Mendoza. It is open Wednesday to Sunday and on public holidays, during the day. Visits and lunches must be booked in advance by phone, WhatsApp, or email. If you are going as a group, it is advisable to book early.
