## About Catapano Wines

Catapano Wines is a family winery in Russell, Maipú, Mendoza, on Provincial Route 60. It is in the heart of the First Wine Zone, about 20 minutes from the City of Mendoza.

The winery building was built in 1910. In 2015 the family renovated it completely, with new technology, and began a new stage. It is run by the third generation of a family with a winemaking tradition in Mendoza. They describe themselves as a young, family-run and dynamic winery.

Its top-tier label is Cojonudo. The Cojonudo Reserva Malbec 2017 comes from the Don Eugenio estate in Maipú, where the winery is located. It scored 94 points and won two gold medals at the Vinus 2021 international competition. The winery has its own vineyard and a water reservoir, and the estate's landscape is part of the visit.

Besides its own wines, it makes high-end Mendoza wines for third parties, under the client's own label. It has a dedicated tourism contact for those who want to visit.
